Responsibilities
- Maintain “Continuous Improvement” philosophy throughout the organization
- Champion ongoing training and development of our team as it relates to quality.
- Ensure continued compliance with all quality management system certificates
- Prepare organization for all quality management system audits (ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015; AS9100-2016).
- Work with manufacturing team to achieve IATF16949 certification
- Assist in developing and maintaining best practices across distribution and manufacturing facilities
- Partner with sales and other functional teams to understand customer quality requirements and metrics
- Work with American Ring teams and customers to ensure goals set for performance reflect the needs of all stakeholders
- Audit all operations for compliance against established goals for performance
- Audit quality systems and processes for deficiencies and implement appropriate quality actions
- Monitor all quality actions
- Resolve all corrective actions to ensure customers and American Ring quality standards are met
- Work with sourcing manager to ensure APQP are meeting customer expectations
- Review/Audit APQP against customer expectations
- Oversee maintenance of all quality documents covering customers and vendors
- Report all changes in quality processes or documentation to sales, purchasing, sourcing, and production teams

Work Experience Requirements
- 5 years of major work experience in similar position is preferred
- Evidence of training for role competency
- Experience with ISO9001 and TS16949 necessary
- Experience with AS9100 preferred
Tool & Equipment Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Skilled with caliper, micrometer, and other inspection gages
Physical Requirements
- Must pass vision exam for acuity
- Light warehouse lifting
Education Requirements
- College degree is preferred
